About  Us

Sarah Hannibal-White (BA (Hons), PGCE, MA Ed)

I am a local mother and small business owner. I run Hannibal-White Photography and manage the local community Facebook page Boo & Mummy. Since becoming a mother, I have become extremely active in the local parenting community in Winchester and have forged strong links with a range of businesses, nurseries and parents.

Since the launch of my Boo & Mummy page in December 2016, I have gained over 15000 followers and have one of the largest reaches in Winchester. I share information about local franchises and services for parents in an up to date and user friendly way. I have connections with over 40 small businesses who cater for parents and babies/children and work tirelessly to maintain this.

Catherine Defty (BN, Msc, RCN, SCPHN)

As well as being a local mother and small business owner, I have a passionate interest in parental support, infant wellbeing and public health. As a qualified Children’s nurse and Health Visitor, a key focus of my career has been to help equip parents and parents-to-be with the information and support they need in order to provide their child with the best possible start in life. I am committed to the roled community plays in public health and wellbeing and am passionate about helping children grow up to be the healthiest, happiest adults they can.

We operate Bump & Boo as a Social Enterprises such are commited to reinvesting in our events in order to continue to grow and develop the support we can provide to local families and businesses.

So thats us! Two mums juggling and struggling our businesses around our families but our passion and dedication ensures we deliver.

“Sarah & Catherine a HUGE thank you from us at Baby Sensory for a fabulous day! Dr Lin Day was amazed by the amount on offer to parents and the passion that came from each and every business she visited.

If you have not attend a Bump & Boo event before and are wondering if it is worth it for your business, it absolutely is! If you’re a parent and wonder whether it’s worth going it absolutely is and take the kiddies too! There is always a great vibe and so well organised.”

Imogen Coleman

Baby Sensory

“Bump & Boo is such a brilliant event and it’s clear how much it’s growing and how new stall holders are being added each time. Anyone locally who is expecting or with a pre-schooler will find so much of interest and practical use at their events.”

Steve Brine

Local MP

” Both Sarah and Catherine put their hearts and souls into Bump & Boo and in doing so, they’re not only supporting expectant parents and new parents but also a whole host of small and local businesses… Bump & Boo helps more than parents, it helps the whole community to support one another and help one another navigate what can be a pretty crazy and dauting time!

Thank you both”
